Lee Li Nineteen Male 5’8” & 152 lbs Student Tamer Bisexual Other | Personality Lee Li grew up spoiled by an upper class family that sat at the top of the social ladder in his faraway hometown, and he hasn’t quite gotten used to the life of a peasant. He’s careless with his money, so he often resorts to mooching food off of the people around him whenever he blows his month’s budget on useless trinkets that remind him of his wealthy early life. Even in his desperation he can summon the will to be disgusted by the snacks that are offered to him after his constant begging, his pickiness tends to fight against all but the most severe stages of hunger. While his luxurious upbringing didn’t do his shades of arrogance any favors, he’s still sensitive to people’s negative reactions to his spoiled nature. He’s been raised in a closely knit circle of friends and family all his life, so he isn’t used to dealing with total strangers and them not worshiping the ground he walked upon. He wants to learn to be more tolerable to be around, but he hasn’t yet shaken away his impulsive tendencies. He’s quick to anger whenever he’s belittled in any way—usually due to things like teasing his redundant name, the feminine nickname “Lily” due to his full name sounding like the flower, his foreign nature, and his small size. When he’s enraged he doesn’t do much damage though, usually just a temper tantrum to deal with. He tries to put up a tough exterior, but every once in a while his thoughts drift back to his past life in the lap of luxury, and to the dragon attacks on his village that ended those days. Besides the occasional letter from his family back home, he lost practically all social ties upon enrolling in the academy. He has trouble connecting to new people, and takes it hard whenever he fails in his endeavors to reach out to someone. He tries to get close to people a decent amount of the time, despite the drawbacks of failing in his attempts. History Lee “Lily” Li was born in a faraway land where dragons seldom roam. Not even he can remember the formal name for the lands, because the people there had split up into several factions, with none making a worthwhile enough of an impact to take full control of the region. He grew up under the wings of the local warlords, receiving the spoils of war in the form of all the wealth that he could imagine, spoiling him tremendously. He belonged to the “Dragon Clan,” though not a single member of his family had ever actually seen a dragon firsthand, oddly enough, believing the creatures to just be myths. One day a dragon arrived in their lands and proved them wrong, burning the village down to the foundation and leaving few survivors, with most of Lee’s immediate family reduced to nothing more than mere casualties after sitting upon gilded thrones for so long. After much remorse and sorrow, the surviving family pooled all of their remaining valuables together to send someone off to the faraway Domare Academy in order to prevent any future tragedies such as the one that had befallen them. After the deaths of most of the other higher ranking members of the clan, Lee had been placed as the next in line to the throne. But since they had little left to crown a new leader with in the first place, he was instead tasked with learning the language of the faraway land and traveling the hundreds of miles to reach the academy. He begrudgingly followed through on these tasks put upon these shoulders, still yearning for the glory days where he could do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. Dragons If you already own dragons (either you are a civilian and qualify or a teacher), then you can place them here. If not, leave this area blank.General He wears a ragged jacket that looks like it might’ve been extravagant years ago, but had become ragged from constant use and lack of proper treatment. Through a layer of grime lays a jet black fabric laced with gold colored threads that continue to shine past the rugged surface. The jacket sports an upturned collar that his flowing ponytail drapes over. While his apparel is ragged and torn at places, he wears an assortment of elaborate jewelry, consisting of pieces like gem embedded rings, necklaces, and earrings. He also wields a katana and knows how to swing it properly, but because the technique involves swinging it downward like a fishing rod he looks like he’s flicking it like a pansy compared to how others would use more common swords. ⤷K-Project ⤷Yatogami Kuroh⤷Li, Lee |
