malin erja rinne SIXTEEN FEMALE 5'4" & 124 lbs HETEROSEXUAL student breeder Beginner emily | personality Malin is a fairly introverted young lady. Not really shy, persay-she'll readily introduce herself to new people when she feels the situation calls for it. Rather, it is simply that she doesn't often seek out people for small talk or just to shoot the breeze. Her reserved nature is often mistaken by others for snobbishness or arogance, though this simply isn't the case. She doesn't worry over those who do think this way, simply writing them off as not being worth her time. She does her best to avoid conflict with others, and when she does have a major problem with someone, she often turns away from them, shutting them out complete rather than confronting them directly. Malin has always placed a high value on her wit and intelligence. She has always been studious, getting high marks in her classes in her home village. When the younger students were struggling with their lessons, it was Malin who the teachers turned to help them out and tutor them. She has always had high confidence in her intelligence, but now that she's entered Domare, surrounded by the best of the best, her confidence has begun to waver. For most of her life, Malin has placed her focus on others, especially her parents and sisters, rather than herself. Applying to Domare was one of the first things she's done to really strike out onto her own path rather than thinking of her family's needs. It is difficult for her to be apart from them after spending sixteen years of her life surrounded by family, but she is slowly getting used to be on her own for a change. history Malin was born and raised in a small village on an island of rocky hills, the daughter of a pair of goatherds and the fourth of seven children, all daughters. Malin found herself perfectly content growing up as a middle child. She had always preferred to keep to herself, certainly not minding the fact that her parent's attentions were usually divided between her more needy younger sisters and more boisterous older ones. She had always been a calm, obedient child, doing her share of the chores and helping out her little sisters with theirs. Malin's parents' had high hopes for her, for all their daughters. Of course, in their parents' eyes, it simply meant marrying sons from the families who owned the most goats on their little island. He father was boisterous, and quite the braggart. Anytime he was in the village hall, he would talk the ear off of any one who would listen-or who he could corner-about his wonderful daughters: how beautifully Anneli could sing, and how quickly Sofia could milk the goats and how perfectly made Tea's cheese always was. Malin was always his “clever” daughter: Malin, who was always top of her class in school, who had figured out how to fix the milking pen in half the time it would've taken him. Malin, however, had more ambition than to simply be the clever wife of goat-rich herder. Quite in secret, she submitted an application to the great Domare Academy, hoping to learn to become a dragon breeder. She didn't want to disappoint her parents if she didn't get in, and so she thought it best they didn't know. When her acceptance letter came, she approached her parents that evening very nervously, suddenly worried that they might not want her going off so far for school. Their reaction was much better than she expected, both of them pleased at her success. They readily agreed, and Malin was sent off to begin her schooling. dragons general ⤷ARRIETTY ⤷ARRIETTY ⤷RINNE, MALIN |
