These Terrors were all so badly behaved- Raphael was almost offended that they dare show such ill-trained Terrors before him before he remembered that, oh wait, they were freshmen. Had he and Rose really started at a level like that, back in the day? They'd have to work on that- though he supposed that was why they were here, to learn to tame their dragons. Right. Which only brought him back to the whole 'getting class started' thing. Which he should definitely do. And it seemed he had everyone's attention (minus the roaring Terrors), which was also a wonderful thing. He gave the new girl a smile and then nodded to Aldis, glad that at least two of his students were sane- and then Aldis, perfectly calm, hauled back her fist and punched the boy in the face. Hard. "Oh, hey, ah-" and then she was kicking the boy in the ribs, which was maybe somewhat justified but nonetheless still not okay- and the kid was whimpering and whining and his Terrors were not being of any help whatsoever and he somehow found the nerve in him to step forward and clamp a hand down on Aldis' shoulder and speak to her in a voice that somehow miraculously was not a pathetic squeak. "If everyone c-could jusst calm down, I think business is well-enough t-t-taken care of." He frowned at her Terror, tapping the dragon on the head lightly in his disapproval, and turned to stare down the boy on the ground. "What'sss your name? I'm willing to forgive everyone involved and f-forget the whole thing, b-but I expect actual work in the f-future, yesss?" He didn't like being mean. Well, he wasn't really being mean, quietly disapproving was probably the most intense thing that could be said about him, but that was alright. He didn't raise his voice, he never raised his voice, but hopefully at least some of his seriousness would get through. Maybe. Possibly.
It only occurred to him after that his hand had been on Aldis the entire time- probably a tad too long for what was appropriate. He jerked it away and shoved it into his pocket, hoping the slight red tint to his cheeks was taken as anger rather than the embarrassed blush that it was. He shrank away to stand near the new foreign girl- even with her strange babble she was the one he was the most comfortable (ie least uncomfortable) with at the moment- only for her Terror to start roaring. He stared at it, somewhat alarmed; his Terrors weren't amused either, though they didn't roar or posture, only sit up straighter and give all the noisy Terrors their best 'we are superior' looks. "Ssso. Um. Lesson one- you're in charge, yeah?" He ducked behind the girl to look her Terror in the eye, careful not to get in its face in case it bit but also not wanted it to flame on its poor trainer. "You c-can't let them think they're the bosss." His two Terrors snorted and he swatted at them lightly, making them give their little dragon laughs. Ugh, he had his work cut out for him.

She rolled her eyes at the boy. "Oh by the love of Thor, stop whining you yellow-bellied wimp. Can't even handle getting beat up by a girl." She blinked at the foreign insults and tilted her head to the side, jumping when the professor put his hand on her shoulder. Oh, fighting wasn't allowed here? Back home it was custom to fight those that you didn't like. Or was that just her family and no one else? She knew hitting people without a reason was wrong but, hey, the whining coward deserved it! She glanced down at Raphael's words. Alright, so she made a fool of herself, but she did feel better since she was able to punch someone. Leon, on the other hand, didn't like Aldis looking down, or the kid she had just punched, or getting touched by Raphael and flapped his tiny wings and opened his jaws at Raphael. Not biting him, but saying 'don't touche me' in the politest way possible. He calmed down though, glaring at the kid on the ground while getting ready to pounce at his face to rip it off, if he could. Aldis patted his head to try and get him to stop. Raphael was right, it was time for class.
Aldis moved back to where she was before, slightly away from everyone in case Leon decided to spout fire. The Terror was not happy with anything and he was obviously the boss here! He tried to prove it by roaring, but Aldis ripped him off her shoulder and held his mouth shut until he stopped struggling and gave her a pleading look. There. She let him go and he huffed at her, blowing smoke in her face. Ugh. Leon was so not getting any treats tonight, Aldis's expression said so. He climbed back onto her shoulder and settled down. More or less. He glared at Raphael's Terrors, and Al's Terrors, then at the boy Aldis punched and kicked. The other Terror didn't really do anything to earn his hate yet. He then glared at Aldis just cause and he got an equal one back. Oh it was so on. Terror versus human. He wanted to go at it but Aldis went back to ignoring him to pay attention to anything else that happened. It was a tough world for a Terror.

Al had kind of decided that everyone was crazy, as she witnessed her Master getting embarrassed over touching the other girl, the other boy swearing up a storm, grabbing his Terror and leaving, without a word to them except words she didn't know, and the other girl having a staring contest with her Terror. Yep. Everyone here was absolutely nuts, no ifs ands or buts. This was... worrisome. It definitely inspired a kind of trapped, frowning look to her face. Hopefully they wouldn't try to kill her? Was that was crazy people did? She wasn't sure - she could always ask her sister. She'd know, she was one, just not as bad as these guys. Definitely not. At least they were finally getting to something constructive, and Al snuck a worried glance at her Terror - the only reason he wasn't currently going at it was the fact that he was severely outnumbered. Slightly? He would've taken those odds. That many against him, especially seeing as they didn't know where the other girl's Terror lay? Yeah, he wasn't taking those odds. Thank goodness. Now, Al could focus on the lesson. Which she immediately responded to by shaking her head. "Harvey- Harvey is boss. If Harvey not boss, he bite. More hard. I do not know how to control wi'out bite." Believe her, if she knew, she totally would've already taken control of him a looong time ago. As it was, much as she loved him, he bothered her so much. Ugh.

He felt that maybe there was a metaphor somewhere in this- he was trying to teach them to be the boss, to be in charge, to be confident and not put up with crap- and here he was, letting them walk all over him. That was different though, wasn't it? These were people. Rather terrifying people. Who could punch things. As the boy- he'd never learned his name, he should probably get on that one of these days- had so unfortunately found out. But it was off to the nurse's office for the boy and his lazy little Terror, which meant it was time to actually get to teaching. Which was going to be absolutely wonderful, because as the foreign girl oh-so-helpfully pointed out, these were not well-behaved dragons. They were Terrors, and terrible ones at that. Aldis' at the very least didn't try to kill him, which was a start. He would have grabbed the creature, if only to make sure it didn't try to eat any of his students, but in a surprising show of skill its trainer grabbed it by the mouth and forced it to calm down. "Sssee? That was good!" He praised her- perhaps a little too loudly, but he was still feeling rather worked up- and though the little beast wasn't completely settled down it had stopped roaring. Which at the very least was nice on his ears. Though that allowed him to hear Al's statement, causing him to turn away from Aldis and focus his attention on Harvey. And, man, he had to say he wasn't surprised, that was a little monster of a dragon. "Well, ah, at least he hasn't f-f-flamed?" That was pathetic, he was better than this, but he was so damn flustered. This was so not in his job description.
There, he just had to take a few deep breaths. His Terrors were posturing just as badly as the other two, and of course that couldn't be allowed, so he took a moment to scold them both gently, hoping to at least guilt them into behaving. Which wasn't going to work, because of course they were alphas, but he could keep them from outright attacking, at least. Lady, the little suckup, took to scolding Harvey in her angry, high-pitched chatter- it may well have been nonsense, he didn't really know- though she cut it off with a few irritated chirps when he stroked along her spines. "Well, ah, sssome d-dragons don't respond to that as well. You need to b-build some trust first." He offered a hand toward the fearsome little dragon, letting it sniff him should it choose to do so, and crouched down a bit so he could look at the creature in the eyes. "Do you have any idea what he likes? Treats, bellyrubs? They all like sssomething."

Aldis beamed at the praise. She was thankful she learned a little bit about Leon before rushing to this class. She almost got hit with a fireball, but she learned that he was a very needy dragon that would do anything for her attention and praise. Thus why she ignored him sometimes. If only that worked every time. She was by no means a professional and had no idea how to even care for a Terror, but that was what that Drag Class was for, right? She avoided going to it first though, since she heard that teacher was a complete loony. She wasn't ready for that level of crazy in teachers yet, and she heard rumors before she came of one of the professors having students run for their lives from a Speed Stinger pack, and another one trying to make them quit by whatever means. Scary. The only scary story she didn't know was from Raphael, she assumed he was the third teacher she heard about. At least she would learn something from him. Hopefully.
She soon focused on the class and watched the master try to work with the other Terror. Leon, already sensing that his position as boss might be ruined, puffed himself up as much as he could, trying to make it clear that he was the dominant one. Aldis ignored him again, more focused on the class and on the teacher she actually liked. Not many professors got her respect, but even though Raphael seemed flustered and all, she felt like he really knew what he was doing. Wasn't he also a Keeper of something? Probably something terrifying, since he was a master. Leon settled down on her shoulder again and took to watching too. They would be pretty quiet, since it was time to learn. After all, that was why she came here!
