anneliese weiss eighteen female HEIGHT & WEIGHT demisexual civilian shepherd monoknapper | personality Anneliese used to be quite the crybaby when she was younger. Despite growing up with brothers, her earliest years were spent clinging to her mother and not wanting to do anything the boys were doing. Everything scared her, from the bleating of a goat to the whinny of a horse. She couldn't even handle the flies that buzzed around in the house. It wasn't until she was around five when that changed. She started finding herself enjoying the farm life as soon as she was dragged outside one cloudy day. She found herself growing less and less afraid of the world around her, and she found herself enjoying all that the farm had to offer. Anneliese is a quick learner, and she learns best through observation and then trial and error. Verbal instructions do her absolutely no good, especially when she accidentally starts to tune out the person speaking. She doesn't intentionally do it. It just kind of happens.Growing up on a farm with rowdy boys has turned Anneliese into quite the tomboy. She hates wearing anything that doesn't involve pants on a daily basis. Sure, she will allow someone to dress her up like a doll every now and again, but she doesn't want to be doing her job in a dress or a skirt. No, it would get dirty far too quickly. She's been known to roll in the mud with her dogs, chase after the chicken and get covered in feathers, and even get stuck in trees trying to retrieve a certain cat who keeps forgetting that she can't get down after climbing up. Just because she is a tomboy doesn't mean that she acts completely unladylike. No, it's the small things that come out to make it more or less obvious that she hates being proper and prim. She still tries to remain polite to those she meets, and she tries to keep her manners and respect authority. It's just a little hard when you don't really know how to act around other humans. Why, yes. This girl is rather awkward in social situations. She's used to spending many hours of the day with only her dogs, her cat, and the sheep. She's only at the farmhouse for probably about four or five hours a day, and that is usually late at night or early in the morning to get some sleep before having to get back up and do everything all over again. Her time in town is usually limited to an hour or two if she needs to gather supplies. She tries to keep herself from actually meeting people. She keeps her head down, her mouth shut, and tries not to make eye contact. She's quiet. She keeps all conversations short. It is only when she can tell that there is no getting out of something that she will at least try to speak a little more, though it might become more stuttered and mumbled than clearly spoken. She at least tries. Anneliese can sometimes come off as flighty. She would rather duck and hide rather than confront anything or anyone. It is only when her animals become involved that she has a sudden burst of courage and probably extreme stupidity. She is more protective over her animals and her brothers than she is over anyone or anything else, even her own life. She would blindly go into battle for them, even though she knows nothing about fighting or how to handle dragons or anything of the like. What will probably help her in the best (or worst) of situations is her surprising dominance. This dominance really only shows itself when she gets mad enough or when she is dealing only with her pack of herding dogs. She goes from softspoken to loud with a tone and posture that commands subordination. It can be quite frightening to anyone who hasn't seen her like this before. Now, Anneliese has a side of her that really only shows itself around the injured or animals in general. This side is sweet, gentle, and caring. Slow movements to keep the young from being frightened. A soft, cooing voice to sooth nerves. She knows her way around an animal's barriers. It makes her surprisingly good with human children if they're young enough, though she really doesn't like human children because of how loud they can be. Anneliese is very protective of the young no matter what, and she will turn into a mother bear when she is allowed around infant animals or anyone or anything that is injured. She is perfectly comfortable with fussing over someone and nursing them beck to health. It's normal for her, even if it might be stranger to everyone else. Anneliese is quite the judgemental person when she first meets someone. It probably doesn't help that she doesn't trust many people in the world, especially anyone with a dragon. It isn't something she should ever boast about, and she doesn't. She just doesn't have the same relationship with dragons and their owners that she does with anyone else. Sure, she likes dragons as a whole, but she doesn't like having to deal with any that try to steal from her herd. Whenever a single sheep goes missing, her mind instantly tells her that a dragon or a hunter is to blame. Sure, she will also blame the wolves and any other predator living in the land, but it is harder for her dogs to scare off dragons and humans than other animals. history -- born to a small family of farmers/ranchers/etc.-- mother, father, three older brothers -- never really made friends as a child, spent most of her time with the animals they kept on the farm -- grew up being taught how to grow crops, cook, tend to various animals, sew, etc. -- pretty much a tomboy her whole life -- mother grew sick when she was nine -- mother died a few months later -- the farm started to go under -- father sold a lot of the animals and the farm -- they moved around until they could find a stable location and had the money to buy more land -- they prospered -- jobs on the farm were divided with anneliese taking care of the sheep -- father grew ill when she was fifteen -- father died when she was sixteen -- her brothers and herself now run the farm on their own dragons Psh. Dragons. She doesn't need dragons. If you must know what she does have, then I'll just list them here.GISBERT - male - four years - pyrenean shepherd - herds sheep MELITTA - female - six years - collie - herds sheep EBERHARD - male - one year - australian shepherd - raised with zenzi - still training LAMMERT - male - five years - belgian teruvan - herds sheep ANINA - female - three years - polish lowland sheepdog - usually stays with the sheep until called for (meals) ZENZI - female - one year - turkish angora - raise with eberhard - believes she's a dog - tries to herd ducks SHEEP X A LOT general -- While you might not be able to see it while she's clothed, Anneliese has various scars on her abdomen and even on her head from when the sheep grew rowdy, especially when they were frightened or when something was trying to hunt them. She even has scars from a wolf bite on her right thigh.-- She tends to keep covered up as much as possible, going as far as to some leather armor when she is out with the sheep. This both covers her scars (which she is a little self-conscious about) and helps protect her whenever she has to defend the herd. -- Despite her size, she can pack a punch when she needs to. She did, after all, grow up with three older brothers who didn't care much for treating her like a girl... Until she was crying on the floor or in actual danger. That was when they started fussing over her. ⤷IB ⤷IB/EVE ⤷WEISS, ANNELEISE |
