evelyn waltz sixteen male* 4'10" & 90lbs demisexual student beginner monoknapper | personality Evelyn is as aloof as they come. He was told never to trust anyone, especially with how things are with the trading company. He gives everyone the cold shoulder, even when he is supposed to put up the 'carefree little darling girl' act at the academy. Yeah, no. Sorry, mom, but Evelyn is a horrible actor. That was the one thing she forgot to have him tutored in. He can make his voice as feminine as he wants, but his personality will rarely change unless the situation calls for it. Speaking of tutors, Evelyn is very intelligent and well educated when it comes to academics and the fine arts... Other than acting. When it comes to dragons, however, he is a little lacking on the matter. Despite this, he tries to deal with everything in a logical matter, making quick calculations on how to deal with anything and everything. Now, because Evelyn is too stubborn to let anyone know more about him, such as the deep down inner turmoil or anything else like that, we'll move onto his likes and dislikes. For one, despite the crossdressing, he hates dresses, high heels, and every other feminine piece of clothing out there. It's not that he doesn't think it's pretty or anything (because he can become very conflicted with wanting something merely because it's pretty rather than the intent to wear it), he just finds them to be uncomfortable. Honestly, if he had his way, he would walk around in his nightgown (which consists of really only an oversized men's dress shirt) all day. He also hates classes. He only went to tutoring sessions because the maids would hunt him down. Getting to classes on time will be a daunting task for him, and it might take being dragged there. He's also a picky eater, preferring fruits and sweets over vegetables and meats. Evelyn is an avid reader, and he can read in a variety of languages (English, Latin, German, French, Italian--he's still working on all the Norse). He takes forever to get ready in the morning, and it takes a miracle just to wake him up. Getting up on his own is even harder than anything else. Evelyn is terrified of thunder and lightning, yet he loves the sound and feeling of rain. He is also terrified of hospitals, though that is understandable considering the time period. history Evelyn was born into a prestigious family within the Holy Roman Empire (which was still young when the vikings were around, onhonhon). His grandfather was the head of a large trading company who dealt with pretty much every kingdom, empire, etc. within Europe and into the Middle East. His father, the heir to the family wealth at the time, worked right underneath his grandfather, going as far as to step in for the old man when his grandfather could not due to prior engagements or health related issues. His mother, unsurprisingly, didn't do any work. There was no need for her to. They had the money, so she 'worked' primarily as a housewife, tending to the children--or, rather, child--and making sure the maids and other servants didn't do anything they shouldn't.When it came down to Evelyn, he was meant to follow in his father's footsteps. The finest tutors from within the Holy Roman Empire and even outside of the empire came to teach him the various mathematics, history, literature, and sciences of the time. His mother brought in a few tutors to teach him the fine arts, too, believing that her child should have a good education in art as well as academics. So, she had him taught the piano and violin. He was taught out to sketch, draw, and paint like the masters. A vocal coach was even brought in. His father did not want his son to be taught the arts, but his mother made sure that there was always a time for him to learn what his father did not want. It was one of the many clashes within the family, but it wasn't nearly as bad what was to come. When he was seven, Evelyn caught a virus that had him bedridden. Various doctors came in from all over, but none could figure out what was wrong with him. All he could tell them was that a dark spot was forming in his right eye, a dark spot that started out with a large blinking spot before the darkness appeared. Since the doctors couldn't do anything about it, other than one doctor's idea of taking out the eye (which his mother absolutely would not allow), the virus was allowed to remain in his body, or his eye more than anything else. Throughout the next six months, the blinking would come and go while the dark spot remained. Whenever the blinking began, he would feel fatigued and nauseated, and a large headache would form. By the time a year passed, he had lost all vision in that eye, and the blinking became less and less often. Without vision in that eye, he was given an eye patch to cover it. When he turned twelve, his grandfather passed away. Or, at least, that was what his parents seemed dead set on believing. He heard whispers around the manor about his father killing his grandfather so he could take over the company, but he refused to believe it at first. He carried on with his life, trying to ignore the rumors. He continued his studies, hoping to make both of his parents proud. Only a year afterwards, though, they started recieving threats from various other companies. There were even some workers under his father who were starting to threaten him, using the murderer reasoning that he had heard the servants speaking about. He tried to ignore it, however, believing that his father would be able to handle it. He was wrong, so, so, so very wrong. The threats grew worse and worse until only a few months ago when his father was murdered in cold blood. Evelyn was now the heir to all of the family's fortune and even business, something his mother believed would put his life in danger. Fearing for his life, his mother enrolled Evelyn in an academy far from the Holy Roman Empire. Well, it wasn't that far, but it was far enough. She made sure that his identity was safe, enrolling him as a female student. He was sent off to the academy soon after, unsure of what was to become of his mother. dragons noot nootgeneral *Due to complicated matters involving the family business, his mother enrolled him as a female student. This means crossdressing each day, never letting it get out that he is actually a boy and heir to the Waltz business and fortune (if he is asked, then he is just a cousin). He wears a long haired wig and feminine clothing in order to conceal his identity. Most of the feminine clothing he has involves the high class dresses of the Holy Roman Empire with influences from England. He does have light armor that he wears for classes, though he only wears it when he has to.Evelyn has a virus that has yet to fully leave his right eye, causing vision loss and a blinking spot that, when it appears, will cause him fatigue, nausea, and a headache. Thus, he wears an eye patch to keep the vision loss from messing with his other eye. {So not mirrored off the virus in my left eye. Wat?) Accompanying the eye virus, Evelyn as allergies! Like, really bad allergies. Fun times, huh? Yeah, there's really not much to explain here. You'll learn all about those throughout roleplay. ⤷KUROSHITSUJI ⤷LADY/CIEL PHANTOMHIVE ⤷WALTZ, EVELYN |
