Cyrus armillio 36 Male 6'0" & 168 homosexual flying instructor stoker head of house and Monstrous Nightmare Keeper peach | personality Cyrus can come off as a bit of an odd man. first off he's rarely seen without a smile on his face. Even when suffering from an injury or ill he'll just grin the pain away. On the surface it appears nothing bothers him at all. However if one looks close enough they can see a manic edge to his grins. Some have said he's not quite sane, but those are nothing but rumors. Cyrus keeps his personal and professional life separate so his crazier tendencies stay in the bedroom. He takes a fresh look on life and truly enjoys teaching. Mind you teaching the wild and fast moves are his favorites and he's not above showing off. Much like himself his dragons have a need for speed. Cyrus can be a bit possessive over those very close to him. He will cling and chase off any competition to romantic interests. The safety of his students comes before all else however. It may not appear so but Cyrus is serious in the class room. He may showboat a bit but any of his students caught practicing advanced lessons will be severely punished. Overall he's a pretty laid back and happy go lucky guy, though perhaps a bit "too" happy. history Cyrus doesn't have a particularly tragic back story. At least in his eyes. He was born as the eldest son to a family of fishermen. He was born on the sea and grew up on a boat. He was soon joined by several siblings. The Armillio family was a huge one and once ashore the children were communally raised. During one summer storm when Cyrus was six his parents and their boat were lost in a storm. Unlike his other siblings, he didn't seem affected by their deaths. He continued his life as he had before like it wasn't traumatizing in the least. Cyrus just smiled and continued working. He was just grieving in his own way, and would often wander the shore at dusk thinking. He was fourteen when he left home. There was nothing there for him and Cyrus wanted to do something else with his life. Anything else really. The DDA was not something Cyrus had considered but he ended up there anyway. Dragons were cool with their sharp teeth and deadly abilities. He was sorted into the Stoker house and given his first terror. The little rose colored thing became his best friend and his talents soon advanced him through his classes. His next challenge was taming Legolas. The monstrous nightmare was fairly easy going and eager to please. The boy ignited Cyrus's love for the species. Cyrus found Scree while on a hunting trip. The typhoomerang was a young adult and though not full grown she was still larger than Legolas. She was more curious than afraid but she fought long and hard before Cyrus and Lego were able to subdue her. She refused to partner with anyone else back at the academy and became rather attached to Cyrus, which sparked the series of events that led to him taming the leader of a Monstrous Nightmare pack. Isis hated humans and any other dragons that came around her. It took Cyrus months to wear her down in battle with the help of fish bribes. She and her pack came with him and the recently promoted flying instructor was more than happy to become their keeper. At age twenty seven he was given the chance to become head of house and gladly accepted the position to show off his Stoker and Monstrous Nightmare pride. dragons Isis - Monstrous Nightmare - Pack Leader (Female) Temperament: Isis has a hot temper that is easily sparked. She liked things her way and will throw her weight around to stay on top. Cyrus is the only human she will listen to and obey without question. She sees all others as minions and will act adorable and sweet or set herself on fire, whatever works to get what she wants. Coloration: A deep rust color with dark blue/black markings her underbelly is a light beige and stands out strongly to her other coloration. Legolas - Monstrous Nightmare (Male) Temperament: Lego is always up for plenty of fun. He shares his human's strange sense of humor and will shoot his spines to make others dance for his amusement. He's a sweet lovable guy though and has an excellent temperament for lessons. Coloration: Lego is a bright red with charcoal stripes on his back, tail and the topsides of his wings. The red fades to a crimson around his horns and feet. Scree - Typhoomerang (Female)  Temperament: Scree is a gentle giant. She's come to love people of any sort or size. She's more than happy to carry a load of students or some of the smaller dragons around if need be. A bit of a flashy lady she doesn't mind spreading her wings to show off her impressive wingspan. Coloration: Scree's main body and wings are a bright burnt orange, speckled with a darker blood red. The edges of her wings fade to a bright gold. The same color, just a few shades lighter fade up her neck and to her face.
